SpendMate is an AI-powered personal finance app designed to simplify money management by automating bill scanning, expense tracking, and providing actionable insights. The focus was on creating a seamless onboarding, clear budgeting flows, and handling real-world edge cases like denied permissions and recurring expenses.

• Conducted secondary research on personal finance apps and digital payment adoption in India

• Defined user personas (student, freelancer, homemaker, impulse buyer, subscription-heavy user)

• Designed complete end-to-end user flows, from onboarding to budgeting, bill scanning, and AI assistant interactions

• Explored and mapped edge cases like denied permissions, failed scans, and overspending alerts

• Created high-fidelity mobile UI screens with a focus on dark theme and clarity
